I assume you have looked everywhere for the code. Go the dealer who sold the car new an they may have the code stored in their computers. If they do not then go to the Chrysler web site and see if they have an owner's section. You may be able to get it there. You can also get the code at your Chrysler dealer by providing the radio serial #. You can also go to this site and get the code for a price. http://www.radio-code.co.uk/chrysler-radio-codes.html To get the radio serial # follow these directions compliments of radiocode.co.uk

  1. Locate and remove the screws at the top of the surrounding panel and also at the bottom, usually near the ashtray area.
  2. Some Chrysler units only have screws at the bottom, the rest of the surrounding panel is held on by clips only.
  3. Once removed you should be able to pull the panel away from the dashboard to reveal the radio's information.
  4. If you need to remove the radio they are normally held in place by 4 screws.

Lost code radio V40

VIN doesn't matter. You need to read the serial number from radio housing. Then go to your dealer. Sometimes you'll be happy and get the code for free. Sometimes dealers charge for this. You can also try to ask some independent specialists. Anyway: the start point is serial no. of the radio.

Radio code

bad news. you didn't read the operators guide in the glove box.
it says , dont pull battery or run it dead or the radio codes are lost.
it says, get the radio code first day you get car.
when the car was new, in the gove box was also a code card.
if all that is lost?
you must take the radio serial number to the dealer ....
it says that too.
the operators guide is free,

Lost radio code

Radio lock out codes are security related, and each code is unique to the car and the radio in that car, and that unique code was supplied with the original paper work when the car was delivered to the original owner to discourage theft, so they are not published on the internet, if they were what would be the point?? any thief could get the code after stealing your radio. Contact the dealer for instructions and what info u need to get your cars unique radio code. The dealer will require the serial number off the radio and proof of ownership of the car it came from.
