SOURCE: transmission code PO753, how to repair?

PO753 code on a Durango can also be caused by a bad transmision relay in the relay -fuse block behind the battery in the engine compartment. (relay # 31 on 1999 Durango) Before you attempt to replace the 3-4 solenoid, or take to a transmission shop, try changing the relay out with another known good relay, reset the code and try it. I learned this today from an honest transmission shop. Shifts normally again, check engine light is out, and the shop did not charge me a dime. Kudos to Trans Medic in Gresham OR.

SOURCE: air conditioner blows hot air,

As long as the belt is turning the compressor than the only other thing would be that the refrigerant (R-134) is not full. You can buy re-charging kits at any local auto parts store, although they recommend that you have a licensed dealer remove the old refrigerant so it dosn't go into the atmosphere. Good luck.

Vehicle speed sensor code P0500

There may be a connector disconnected (one of the in-between disconnects). Sounds like you induced the problem and I would retrace your steps and check all connectors. Did you remove the transmission when you removed the engine? It's possible you severed a wire moving the parts around. You could do an ohms check from end to end to see which wires aren't making contact to further isolate the problem

Code p1296,p0108,p1494,p0500 on 2000 durango, what most likely wrong?

P1296 No 5-Volts to MAP Sensor

I would try MAP sensor first.

2002 dodge durango engine light on. after diagnostic test.results indicate evaporator hoses are leaking

Check your gas cap first.

Replace the cap and have the code cleared at Autozone. If the problem comes back, look for cracks in the lines between the gas tank and the evap canister behind the battery.

P0500, intermittant speedometer, after sitting 6 months

Sounds speedmeeter is going haywire. Like everything in today's automobiles they are made with plastic gears. Some can be unscrewed under the stearing wheel others are not. The problem with the brake light break pads were probably stuck.I would say that your speedometer is not removable to many people disconnecting them for low milage on vehicle when trading or selling.
