SOURCE: i need a fuse panel diagram for a 1987 bmw 325i
your car has double squirrel cage fan. Odds are it is not the fuse. The brushes wear out in motor and it does not make contact causing it not to work. Try this. Open hood on firewall behind intake(aluminum part where it says bmw) the fire wall has bolts in it. The fan access is behind there. First i would try hitting that area a hammer to try to bounce the contacts of the blower motor. Do this while the fan is in the on position. If that does not work remove the screws and the fan is behind there. There is a resistor and a motor behind there. A giant clip holds it in. You have to be inclined to change it

The motor is replaced from under the hood, you have to remove the cabin ai filter housing. It is can be a hard job. Most dealerships will charge 3 hours labor to do it.
