SOURCE: Radio code for Honda CRV 1999

If the radio has not been changed in the past, then I am almost certain that your local Honda dealaship can help but as always they may charge you. There are auto centres that are equipt to change the radio code and they do charge.

The brake hose maybe bad replace it. They can claps on then self inside the hose. One work to check is have someone push the brake paddle down and release it if the rotor is hard to turn, open the bleeder vale if fluid comes out and the rotor turns freely that you problem.

SOURCE: Brake Fluid Sensor

I believe it is a float in the master cylinder. If it's on, check your barke fluid level. Add if needed.
The reason for low fluid is that the front disc brakes are wearing down causing the brake caliper to move out which lowers the fluid level in the reservoir. So, also check your front brakes for wear.

God luck.

Please rate as fixya if this solves your issue. Thanks

SOURCE: 2002 honda crv air filter change

Hi!

Can you specify if you are referring to the engine intake air filter or the cabin air filter?
If you are referencing the cabin air filter, the attached youtube video should help.

I originally created the video for the Odyssey, but found out after looking at my dad's CRV that it is essentially the same procedure as the Odyssey, and have also noticed that the same stands true for most Honda vehicles built between 2005 and 2009.

Happy motoring!

What could be causing a clanking noise when breaking?

More then likely its time to change the brake pads and rotors .How dose the pedal feel and do you feel a pull to one side or the other. It could also be a loose wheel bearing or ever a peice of debrire lodged in one of the calipars. But most likely in the front brakes they do 70 % of the stopping

Cant remove the calipar too change the brake pads on the front

You need to compress the calipar, sounds like a groove in the rotor, a big screw driver works

My breaks wont work after changing the front rotars, calipars and pads. I bleed all four breaks starting with the back passenger side then back drivers side then front passenger side then front drivers...

As a general rule, if you have ABS you might have to cycle the pumps and valves to purge the old fluid out of the unit. This is either done via a dealer scan tool, a purge valve/bleeder valve on the ABS unit, or a less than ethical way. Drive your car and heavily engage the ABS, you know what I'm talking about.
Then you will need to repeat the bleeding process that you have already done.
Normal non ABS brakes, bleed once.
ABS brakes, bleed, cycle then bleed again.

How to compress rear brake piston?

take a c clamp and compress it in or it may be the type that has to screw back in and they make a special tool for them, which you can take a pair of channel locks and twist them in also.

On a 1994 Chevy s10 pick up, how do you change the front brakes?

jack up frt end. remove wheels. take note of how the brakes go together. do 1 side at a time so you can use the other side as a referance. remove caliper bolts. use a c-clamp to push in caliper pistons. remove old pads. than remove caliper bracket and rotors.dont be afraid its not a big deal. make sure to check brake fluid level and pump the pedal when the job is completed.

Need to replace front left pads is there a video

Probably not a video, but brakes are to be performed in Axle sets. If the LF is worn more than the RF, something is wrong, like frozen caliper.

I get no resistance unless I pump my Dad's break pedal on pumped

you shouldnt have to bleed them unless they have been worked on recently, i guess the first thing to do is fill the master cylinder, park the truck somewhere flat and clean, pump the heck out of the breaks then move the truck and look for puddles, it really sounds as if there is a leak somewhere in the hydrolic system.
