I assume the lights were NOT on while the car was being driven??
If these lights stay on for an extended period (more than 5 minutes) of time after the engine has been shut off, this may suggest you have a faulty instrument cluster or potentially a parasitic drain on the battery caused by faulty wiring or an accessory that is drawing power from the car when it is off.
To make sure there are not oil pressure issues ... I would check your oil dip stick level .... and also read any OBDII codes to see if the check engine light triggered anything.
If the only issue is the lights going on ... which means there is an electrical issue ... you will probably have to take it to a good mechanic for troubleshooting the problem

If it is your oil LIFE light ... then there is reset procedure ... the shop that changed your oil should have reset it for you:
    1-Turn off the ignition
    2-Close all doors.
3-Turn the ignition key to position II, If your vehicle has push-start button, press and hold the ” Start” for two seconds without touching the brake pedal.
4-Next, simultaneously press the GAS PEDAL and the BRAKE PEDAL and hold it for a minimum of 20 seconds, until a “Service: Oil reset in prog.” message shows on the instrument cluster display.
5-Continue holding the gas and brake pedals until the display says “Service: Oil reset complete”.
6-The oil change reminder indicator will turn off. This confirms that the reset procedure has been correctly completed.

On the #36 fuse ... that is for the instrument cluster and A/C according to the owners manual ... fuse/relay discussion starts on page 148

SOURCE: engine seized no oil did not get check oil or check engine light

The oil pressure warning light only comes on when oil pressure drops below 4psi at this moment there is no oil in the engine most often it does not get to this point because oil, water etc is checked every week. It could be your engine was using oil which would point to an engine fault.

SOURCE: hold light blinking, check engine light on, engine slows down

check tps sensor (throttle position sensor in backside of the throttle cable) and map sensor (manifold absolute pressure on front little 1 inch sensor with vacuum line) make sure there plugged in. the ecm (engine control module driver side inner fender) and tcm (transmission control module under dash) both need the data to know when to upshift and increase fuel/air. Otherwise the computer runs default values and guesses off of other sensors giving poor performance. also disconnect battery for 15 min. usually resets aveo service lights if you dont have a scanner.

Could be a locked up oil pump if you're fortunate. It sounds though like you've broken or seized a bearing or several.
Have a really good, honest mechanic take a look.

Oil light stays on even with the key out of the ignition

I would suspect a short in the wiring. Locate the oil sensor on the engine and disconnect the wire, does the light go out? if so, then the problem could be the sensor, but I suspect it will not go out in which case you will need to trace the wiring till you find the short.

Best of luck, Jim

My 2005 ford focus engine light just came on. Nothing seems to be wrong with it. I'm at a loss..???

You may want to check your belts, make sure they are all turning as the engine is running.

check your oil to be sure it is not overfull or underfull.

Make sure it's not overheating.

If you have an autozone nearby and have verified the oil and temp are fine, they usually will hook up a code scanner to identify any problems with sensors and such.

You may also want to just inspect the wire that goes to the oil pressure sending unit and/or oil pressure switch, either loose or disconnected can cause the engine light to come on.

good luck

Always stop car and check oil when you hear any unusual engine noise. Could have low oil pressure or level. Do you have an oil pressure guage.
