If standard you can push it. if automatic trany you can still push it but you need speed at least 30 to 40 mph with your stick in low gear so the fluid build's enough pressure to turn engine. I have done that before.
are you saying you cant put trans in nuetral as have drained battery and need to push car so you are able get it jump started get a battery and take to car and jump that way
Its probably the brake switch. When the brake pedal is depressed there is an electrical switch that is tripped and it tell the car that the brakes are engaged and safe to start, shift into gears, etc. Mine went out on my 2008 Altima and was a fast 50 dollar fix at the dealership. Its worth it to just pay the dealership rather than try give yourself a headache trying to figure out how to replace it yourself.
I know this sounds stupid, but you can't start it without pushing in the clutch. The only option you have is to leave the vehicle in neutral with the parking brake on to keep it from rolling. I don't recommend this as it could roll away and leave you liable for property damage or personal injury. Typically you only put remote starter devices on automatics. Sorry I couldn't offer any other option.
There are 3 fuel filters in he 528 and when you turn on the ignition, you should hear a buzz that means that the engine is being primed, if you don't, your pump hased gone, The Bms' have a system where the fuel is automatically drained back into the tank and automatically primed prior to starting the engine. This only takes miliseconds, but the primer part of the pump is not part of the mechanical pump so tahts' why it will start when pushed Let me know how you get on. Dave
First push the lock door button. Then push and hold the remote start button (top of key fob, looks like a circle with arrow tip) until the engine starts.
