- Park the car on a level ground.
- Under the transmission, you will find an 8mm Allen key head bolt on a sheet metal oil pan. This is a drain bolt.
- Place a tray or can under the bolt.
- Unscrew the bolt and take it out. Do not worry, the oil will not drain completely out of it. Inside this hole there is another 6mm plastic Allen key head tube. The complete cvt oil only drains completely if you loosen and take this tube out.
- To add the cvt, there is 22 mm bolt on the middle left side of the transmission. Take this bolt out, add the cvt, if required and tighten it back.
- If the transmission oil is seen coming out of this hole, the level is OK, if not add more oil till it starts coming out through this drain hole.

SOURCE: toyota belta

I am a mechanic in Mandalay, Myanmar. Yesterday only I have done this. I found the fuel filter under the back seat. You have to remove
the big round plastic(white in color). Under this the filter is hanging together with the fuel pump. Take care when reassemble back to position as the big plastic ring would shrink. Go to kitchen and boil it for 8 to 10 minutes in a straight cylinderical shaped bowl so that the big plastic ring won't deform in shape. Press firmly and evenly to place and tighten to place. To be on the safe side remove the battery terminals and put to place after you reinstalled the filter. My advice is to replace with a new one, means to deserve the job. If any problem I welcome you to call me or email me. Tel. 95922127; [email protected].

I took my Toyota Belta for service and I realized that the mechanic did not use CYV-TV oil in topping up the gear oil, secondly, he used the place we are told NOT to use for refilling the gear oil,Kindly...

The oil for the toyota belta cvt transmission is a fully synthetic oil and has to be correct. using a mineral oil will destroy the belt. unless the oil he used was pure synthetic oil, there will be trouble soon. Take it back to him and make a record of the oil that he used as it will be claimable for repairs on the shop when it fails.

Toyota Fielder

Toyota Fielder is equipped with (Continuous Velocity Transmission) CVT. Better to replace the CVT oil every 100,000 Km. The recommended oil is Toyota Genuine CVT Fluid TC with part number 08886-02105 4 Litres. Requires inspection after every subsequent 40,000 Km under normal conditions and 25000 Km under severe conditions.

Where is the dipstick in 2007

I cannot understand which dipstick you do want to know about. If you want to know about the auto transmission, it is Continuous Variable Transmission CVT. It does not have any dipstick on it. To check the CVT oil level do the following:
- Park the car on a level floor.
- Open the Allen head bolt from under the transmission oil pan with 6 mm Hex Allen key.
CAUTION: Always wear safety goggles. Keep your eyes away to avoid the oil getting in.
- If the oil is seen coming out of this hole the level is OK. If not, open a bolt (marked with TC) attached to the upper left side of the transmission with wrench, add original Toyota CVT Fluid TC with part number 08886-02105 printed on the tin.
