SOURCE: Removal of Radio in 2004 Hyundai Sonata

Remove the facia plate, and remove the 4 screws that hold the radio in place. It's actually one of the simplest cars you can do.

SOURCE: how do I remove the console from a 2007 hyundai

From the factory service manual

1. Remove the screws holding the console side cover and remove the side cover.

2. Remove the screws holding the floor console assembly and then pull out the floor assembly. (looks like a two screws inside the arm console in the diagram)

Here is a link to a factory service manual for your SUV. Hyundai Service Manuals

SOURCE: 2009 Hyundai Sonata-clicking noise at brake pedal, brakes applied

This is not a rich mans car so its normal. Your hearing the solinod that lets you take the car out of park after the brake is depressed so the car can't be put in gear unless the brake is on. If the noise bothers you the soliniod can be found and wrapped in insulation like a rich mans car them you can ride on feeling like a rich man too. ( the Beatles sang that a long time ago) and its still true today.

SOURCE: How do you change the cabin air filter in a 2009 Hyundai Sonata?

I just did this on our 2007 Sonata. 1. open the glove box. On both sides of the glove box, there is a black tab which prevents the glove box from opening to far. The Chilton manual says to remove these, but that is more difficult then simply pressing inward on the sides of the glove box to release them from the channel. Now the glove box should open even more. Next, remove the piston arm from the right side of the glove box. You can do this by removing the panel on the side of the dash, but you first need to open the passenger door. You can also just use a screwdriver or other tool to slip the piston of without removing the dash side panel. Now with the glove box hanging fully open, you can see the cabin filter box. There are tabs on both sides of the front that you simply press together in order to slide the filter out of the box. This whole process from beginning to end should only take about 10 minutes and is very simple.

I have a 2009 hyundai sonata v6 should I have the auto transmission flushed. I have been told I would have problems after?

Transmission services are part of routine maintenence. Flushing the system on a high mileage vehicle where the fluid has been neglected can cause issues as it stirs up and removes deposits of varnish and worn band/clutch debris through out the system. Most vehicles are usually drain and fill. Others are pan removal with filter and fluid change. Not many companies still do "flushes" but will recommend one of the above services be performed during routine maintenence

Cruise control problem

This is normal for the 2.4 lit 4 cylinder engine. I assume this is the size engine you have in your Sonata. If it isn't, perhaps you should take it in to the Hyundai Service Center and ask them to verify whether or not it's a problem that needs to be fixed under warranty, or whether it's normal.

Using the select shift in my 2009 sonata

The purpose of shift tronic is to give the driver the option of driving like a manual where you command the shift, or auto for easy driving (little effort). It is not specifically used just to down shift or upshift. When you are in 5th gear, thats it, it will do in it normal mode or sport shift.
