Worn or leaking brake master cylinder.
Brake Power Booster :
Damaged booster vacuum line/check valve, or diaphram .
Brake Proportioning Valve :
Improper installation/adjustment or damaged proportioning valve .

You probably have air between the master cylinder and the abs pump. Fill the reservior and have someone pump the brake and bleed the primary lines at the abs pump. Good luck.

SOURCE: ABS seems to kick back on brake peddle at slow speeds

low speed activation of abs[will not set off code ] can also do brake studder without touching brake usually does it under 5 mph the problem is one of the sensors is dirty or has some corrosion on it ===chevy back in 2000 did a partial recall on the tahoe for the same problem the fix was to remove the sensor and clean it if the corrosion was to bad than sensor was replaced === the problem with no code is u dont know which sensor is causing problem u would need to remove both and check them

How to bleed brakes on a Mazda b4000

You always start with the brake that is furthest away from the master cylinder. On most vehicles, it is the passenger rear. Bleed until nothing but clear fluid comes out of the bleeder valve and make sure that the fluid does not go empty in the master cylinder reservoir. Then move to the next closest brake, usually the drivers rear, then to the next closest, usually the passenger front, then finally the last brake. If you do not end up with a proper operating brake system, there must be an issue in the system. Bad master cylinder, booster, or ABS system are likely suspects.

What is the C0265 error code

The ABS EBCM anti-lock brake module is failing causing problems with the ABS pump running constantly, also will drain your battery.
  1. Remove the ABS fuse to prevent ABS motor burn out.
  2. You can still drive your vehicle with the module removed.
  3. We recommend covering the exposed surface of the hydraulic control unit with aluminum foil to keep out water and dirt.

95 Regal Custom, ABS code #95 brake switch circuit and no brake lights. Replaced SLS still no change.

Check the brake light switch (location pedal) unplug the switch & bridge the wires & if the brake lights come on the switch is faulty. all you are doing by bridgeing the wires is bypassing the switch. What is SLS?

Clutch adjustment 95 Jeep YJ

no, there is no clutch adjustment. the clutch is hydraulic, and self adjusting, there are several things that can go wrong with these. with normal wear the fluid can run low allowing air into the system, causing a weak peddle. they can also develop leaks in the master and slave cylinders resulting in fluid loss also causing a weak peddle leading to an inopperative clutch. check the fluid level in the clucth master cylinder(next to the brake master cylinder. if it is empty, refill it(it takes brake fluid) then cycle the clutch peddle a few times and check for leaks. if there is air trapped in the line the clutch will need to be bled. there is a bleeder screw on top of the slave cylinder, bleed it just like bleeding brakes.

My 1998 chevy lumina brake lights won't light up when pressed. I have chaged all fuses and light bulbs. Am I missing any other place for fuses?

this would be a multifunction switch which turn signal switch wipers ect. run through located on steering column under plastic cover.assuming the brake light switch is good see if third brake light works when you press the pedal if so it is deffintly the multi switch.

  • GO to ABS Quick Test .

QT5 PERFORM ABS TROUBLE CODE RETRIEVAL
  • Key OFF.
  • Jump Pin 4 of the data link connector to ground.

Low brake pedal

You may have a bad brake Booster and it could have brake fluid in it.
Also you may want to try a complete brake fluid flush.
