86 mustang 5.0 fuel injected. At cold, starts great and runs stong and firm. After driving about 10-15 mins it starts sputtering and wants to lope and die at idle. Driving, it hardly idles at a stop and sputters from a stop until I punch it. Then, it takes offlike a bat outta hell. Ideas what's wrong?

Your fuel air mixture is wrong. Just like a choke. When it is cold it dumps more fuel in, when it warms up it is supposed to mix in more air. It does not seem to be doing this. You need to have that adjusted. In the meantime you can adjust you idle a little higher. You can do this by adjust a screw where the throttle cable sits on top of the engine.... Please give a good rating, it reaaly means a lot. Please feel free to keep in touch

Check for a vacuum leak at the intake gaskets or throtle body. Once they heat up they shrink and can cause a leak. Good luck.

My 2011 mustang has 55 thousand miles on it and 10 grand in upgrades from a great mech shop iam out of town and drove thru some water on the road now it spits and sputters at high rpms and will stall

you may have poor ignition wires that need to be replaced or a bad electrical connection that is affected by water either for the ignition system or the fuel injection system. just some places to look.

How do i either short out the computer on this 86 accord to tell me the code or can you tell me what might be the problem? The car runs great drives great but say you drive it 25 miles come to a stop it...

Is the car fuel injected or carbureted? If it is fuel injected, the most likely problem is a distributor pick-up. In most cases, it's cheapest to replace the distributor as an assembly. With a carburetor, you need to check fuel pump volume. You may have a restriction or perhaps the carburetor itself needs to be gone through.
