Seems to be locked up but is that's the problem it happened with no warning
There are a few causes. If the shift lever is locked in Park there is a release solenoid on the brake pedal lever. You will not have brake lights when this signal is lost. A drivers foot often dislodges this switch. Properly place it in the holder or replace the switch solenoid if broken.
Recently a problem with the 2018 models was recalled for a clip loosening up that holds the shift cable. It causes problems from rolling when in Park to failure to start, Yours is older and had time to loosen up. Check my first item before going under the truck.
