I have two honda accords, one is a 90 one is a 96, are the engine components ie. O2 sensors, starter, distributor cap, alternators compatible?

Further clarification on the O2 sensor location: It is in the exhaust pipe, under the center of the car, on top of the pipe, just aft of the oil filter.

pull one of the plugs out leave the plug wire on it and rest it on something metal on the car and have someone try to turn it over.if no spark can be seen try changing your crankshaft sensor

Lease check and make sure that you replace with the right seal, that alone should have taken care of this problem. However if the valve cover gasket is loose or bad it will cause oil to leak around distributor are but NOT into distributor. The Main relay on your vehicle is defective. When the relay is operating while the engine is started and running, it gets hot. Add the hot weather to the relay and they break inside. The relay is located on the side firewall driverside above the left kick plate inside the car,and is secured with a 10mm hex cap screw (bolt). Replace this relay, and your vehicle should start.
