SOURCE: I need to reset the radio security code in my 1997 Land Cruiser
Try Using the last 4 numbers of your chassis number
SOURCE: hi i just want to
place key into ignition, hold hold the trip reset for the odometer. turn key to "on" - not start. wait. you will see 4 blinking bars, then 3 then 2 then 1 then none. your oil service light will be off now. It will come back on and flash after 4500 miles, then at 5000 miles it will come on steady and stay on. you have to replace the oil every 4500 - 5000 miles and reset the light each time.
SOURCE: swapping out radio from salvaged
Is the salvaged radio EXACTLY the same as the original radio? Are you sure everything is plugged in correctly? If the radio is not EXACTLY the same. the circuits could be different and the wiring harnesses may not provide power at the correct pins on the radio. Also, do you have the security code for the salvaged vehicle? The code for your radio will not work in the salvaged vehicle radio.
Also check to be sure that you did not cause the fuses to blow when disconnecting/connecting radio components. If you attempted this job without first disconnecting the battery cable, there is a very good likelyhood that this has occured. Damage to the salvaged radio could also have occured if the salvage vehicle battery was not disconnected during removal of the salvaged radio.
SOURCE: how to reset the light
the first thing you do is to replace the fuel filter then disconnect the clogged sensor. a) turn the ignition swicth ON POSITION...b) after turning the ignition swich on,connect the clogging sensor connector within 3 to 60 seconds. c) check that the combinition meter's filter warning light turns off.
