Whenever the 'CHECK ENGINE' light comes on, the ECU (Engine Control Unit) sets a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC). These codes identify the particular engine management system which caused the light to come on. You'll need to use/find an OBDII (On-Board Diagnostic) Scanner to retrieve any code which have been stored in the ECU computer. Afterward, we might be able to help you DIAGNOSE and perhaps eventually fix the problem.

My car was at the auto electricians due to the ecu and they couldnt find the engine light circuit. Is it possible it has been removed.

Do you have a digital odometer? If you see it working the check engine light bulb should be there.I would try a used known good dash speedometer assembly first as it should cost almost nothing and takes 10 mins to change.

The windows do not work, the indicator lights, the sound of the safety sirens and the small front light. This happened after the water entered the car. Hondai Avanti 2003

How do i reset the codes for a 2004 hyundi elentra

Unplugged tha negative (black) wire battery fro a few minutes. If the check engine light turn on again, one or more fault codes are there and need scanning to know exactly what is this number code.

2007 hyundi azera trunk lid not working. Remotes

The answer is in your glovebox. There is a trunk lock-out button on the top left. It is designed to prevent access to the trunk if using a valet (or anyone else driving your car). Go to your glovebox and press the button. The trunk should now work as intended.

Lost my key

alawi, if u bring proof of ownership (title, registration) to the dealer, they will make a key for you. Make sure u bring the vehicle identification # w/ u (it's on the title and registration, also located driver side, on the dash, visible from outside thru the windshield.

this light is a warning light that notifys u when the is a posable issue with the engine or the transmission if it is on u should take it to some one who can hook up what is knowen as a scanner to check what the problem is if it is flashing DO NOT drive it as u could do extenive damage to what is called the catylitic coverter and other components which can be very expensive
