Normally...three bolts for the pulley assembly, and one large center bolt, and yes...a steering wheel puller will work, but make sure the puller doesn't sit into the center hole threads, or they will be destroyed. Sometimes a nut in here will prevent that.

The pully for the water pump that is attatched to the crank shaft is broke and i dont know how to take it off

The crankshaft pulley will have one big bolt in the center and it takes a lot of torque to loosen it. Once the bolt is out ( after all the belts are removed) you may need a tool called a harmonic balancer puller. It will have slots in it that you put bolts through and bolt it to the pulley, then there is one large bolt in the center that presses against the crankshaft and forces the pulley off.

Do you have to drain and drop the fuel tank on a 2005 Nissan Altima in order to change the fuel pump? Also where are the crankshaft sensor and the fuel pump relay located. Thank you for your help.

yes you have to drop tank to replace fuel pump and filter as it is one unit pretty easy though.

crankshaft sensor is either under the harmonic balancer pully or bolted to block facing it you normally have to pull pully to change sensor but some you dont you will need a puller and a installer if you have to pull the pully

relay should be under the hood in relay area

I broke the crankshaft bolt what do i do?

ok witch bolt is it. On most tuff bolts that I break trying to remove or install I use a left hand drill bit and then if that does not catch and remove I use an easy out but let it soak for a while with some WD-40 first

How can i removed the crankshaft pully bolt if the crankshaft is broken?

If the crankshaft is broken you will likely have to the engine apart and remove the bolt with the crank out. Since you have to tear the engine down anyway, no big deal. Why not just replace the engine with a good used one?

Suzuki 1590cc motor pully at front of crankshaft has sheered off.what is the best way to repair this.bolts have sheered off and key also has almost gone

If you have what you said then you have a problem as the key in the crankshaft must be a good fit, and if the woodrough key or grove in crankshaft which holds key is even slightly worn dont trying fitting another pully as the crankshaft has to be replaced first as its the key which dose the driving not the bolt
Sorry mate

1990 Oldsmobile Cierra camshaft pully

do you mean crankshaft pulley? i dont know of a cam pulley on these.

if so replace the whole thing. the rubber on these go bad and rip away from the pulley. it happens. Just get a new one. should be a press fit one. may need a pulley puller. not the JAW type, but the 3 bolt type.

1995 Toyota Corolla broken bolt

There are other solutions but they are not any cheaper unless you can find someone who can drill the bolts out because otherwise the crankshaft would have to be replaced. This would cost about the same as replacing the engine.

Toyota corolla runs but shaft broken-can't get it out

Such items don't break on their own.
In any case, a good mechanic should be able to remove a broken retaining bolt, but access to it may be poor, depending on the model. Those I have dealt with are accessible by removing the plastic inner fender on the right side of the car.
I don't know what they are claiming is the relationship between a broken retaining bolt and a broken belt, or the air conditioner "going out", or who or what broke the bolt.
That bolt is commonly used to rotate the motor by placing a socket or spanner on it. It is quite a large bolt, and should easily stand being used to crank the motor around. So unless it has been used to prevent the crank turning at some past time while doing something else to the engine or transmission, I fail to see why it would break!
