its not called a air switching valve im sure it has a name like pcv valve oxygen sensor with out the correct name and code its throwing im unable to help sorry

Often a sticky lifter. Try an oil change with a premium oil of the right viscosity, and an additive designed for the problem.

Check for B+ voltage at the back of the alternator ,the heavy gage wire . Then there is a connector with two wire's the red wire should have B+ voltage as well , the last wire (BRN) should have B+ voltage with the key in the run position only . Not chaging probably . Maybe you blew a fuse or fusible link .

As you can see, a couple of fan relays. Use a jumper wire on load side of fan relay, the load side is the line with arrowhead. The red wire going to load side of relay, top wire in diagram is hot all the time. As far as the control side of relay, the voltage is fuse protected and goes hot with key on. Either your heater core is clogged with coolant crud, or your blend door is not actuating between cold and hot. If when you turn the heater control knob from cool to warm and you hear a clicking or gear grinding noise, your blend door gear is probably broken. If not, it is just a clogged heater core. Let the engine warm up, then pop the hood and look for two black rubber hoses running from the engine into the firewall. feel both of these hoses. One should be hot and one should be warm. If one is cold or room temperature, the heater core is clogged and will need to be flushed out.
