For tire rods just tighten good enough. i dont know anyone that does

SOURCE: torque spec's: 75 nova steering components

I looked in an old Motor book, competitor to Chilton, and it gives no special torques or instructions for front end parts. It just says tighten.From experience I always tightened them with a 3/8 socket wrench until they stopped turning using just my arm strength. Never loosen to put in a cotter pin. Hope this helps.

2003 Chevy Express 3500 tie rods and ball joints torque spec?

My info for lower ball joint says 74 ft lbs
outer tie-rod says 47 ft lbs.
Any specs your given on the internet you should try to double check. All I can do is post what my database showed. Hopefully the database is correct.
