Have fuel filter changed if it has one. If not it get a shop to check fuel pressure at the fuel rail on engine. If it is low your fuel pump is going bad.

2004 kia spectra, check engine light is on and wont go off to pass inspection, so what can be wrong with car, but it runs good.

Can you tell me what code comes up or do you not have a code reader? If you just want to turn check engine light off, you can disconnect the battery for a few minutes and this will usually clear the engine code, but it will not cure the problem. The light will come on again after 40 or more KM's.

I have a 2004 dodge durango 5.7l with the hemi, won't start

I would start by checking the basics which are checking for spark and fuel. If you have a gauge, check to see if you have fuel pressure when the key is turned on. If you have fuel pressure, check for spark. Chrysler products are known for the crank shaft sensor to go bad and cause a no start. Also, if driving for a certain period with the pedal depressed at the same speed, the throttle position sensor will stay at that position if stuck and will cause either and driveability problem or stalling. You may wanna look into replacing or at least checking that. Good luck.

Engine acts like it is out of gas keeps stalling i can turn it off for a few minutes will run for a mile or two then does it again

Vent valve has failed closed or cannister is clogged up. Have the evap system checked from the tank to the charcoal canister. If you need to drive to a mechanic, try driving with the gas cap loose.

2004 kia sedona ex -just over 100k miles - On cold start after having not been run over night it starts fine, for the 1st few minutes of driving when you push on the gas there is a sputtering/shaking...

It is odd that there are no codes registered. Have the scanner connected while you simulate the condition and get the check engine light.

Since we do not have codes handy I would suspect, bad wiring. Have the fuel pressure tested. The problem may be from the lack of fuel being supplied even if the throttle is stepped on. Check the sparks from all of the plugs. When you check the sparks from the hi-tension wire, do it one at a time to check which causes the sputter.

Other than that it could be loose wiring or vacuum lines. If you have carb cleaner handy or throttle spray, try spraying the intake of the car. At times it may help.

2001 yukon xl every 40 miles acts like its running out of fuel..turn off for 30 seconds and runs fine for another 40 miles then does it every 10 minutes and crank sensor has been replaced. wheres the fuel...

Not sure of filter location but it sounds like pump may be failing...when they do, they bind when they get hot, when cooled down, they work for a short time and then do the same thing again. Likely you will find the filter in the line near the tank...won't hurt to replace it first.

When warm, will run ragged

crankshaft position sensor. when it gets hot and your car starts acting up pour some cold water on it. if your car works fine for a few minutes then thats it. You will find the cps on the forward side of the crankshaft behind the pulley. Also look to see if it is positioned correctly. ie the metal splines on the pulley are passing through evenly with clearance on both sides. there is a through bolt on the sensor bracket that you loosen to adjust the sensor back and forth.
