SOURCE: CLEAN THROTTLE BODY ON AUTO - TOYO CAMRY 98 -WANT

have been spraying into throttle bodies for years, never had a problem messing up plugs. but if you are insistent, you can remove the throttle body from the intake and clean it outside of the car. note that you may need to replace throttle body gasket after removing it depending on how well it comes apart and how well it seals once put back together.
Here's one more idea if you're careful, though i don't think i recommend this. You could stuff a small clean shop rag just through the throttle flap so it's actually in the intake manifold (make sure you can get it back out when you're done) and then spray all through the throttle body. The rag should soak up any excess fluid and then pull it back out when you're done. The reason i don't recommend this is because you may get fibers or other unfiltered debris in the intake and then into the cylinders which could theoretically scratch your cylinder walls and compromise compression to a degree or cause you to burn oil (yeah i guess it's not likely but it has to be possible).

SOURCE: on a 04 camry with 2.4 ltr engine, can I replace

I think the terms "Throttle Positon Sensor", TPS and "Throttle Body" can be misleading at least in regards to the 04 Camry.

My 04 Camry gave a diagnostic reading of P2121 for my problem "Throttle PEDAL position switch D circuit". However, we changed out the complete Throttle Body/TPS (Toyota Part #22030-0H020) that did NOT fix problem.

The 04 Camry TPS Electronic Module "Throttle Positon Sensor" is factory assembled and riveted to the side of the throttle body. The only way to service/inspect it would be to cut off or drill out the rivets. Not sure you could open the darn thing if you got it off, but that seems to be the only way Toyota sells them!!

Hopefully a new Throttle PEDAL Position Sensor (Toyota Part # 78010-33010 PEDAL ASSY, ACC)
will fix it. This is located under the dash near the accelerator pedal.

So, now I would recommend FIRST to replace the "Throttle PEDAL Positon Sensor" (it is much, much cheaper) and then the Throttle Body/TPS assembly!! Unless of course, you get a diagnostic code as you did for "faulty throttle body!!

SOURCE: 94 camry. 2.2 fed emissions.

Before we both knock ourselves out with fuel injector testing. Hook up a Digital voltmeter (DVM) to upstream O2 sensor and lets see how she is burning. Remember positive lead of DVM to signal wire and negative lead to ground. Anything above 550 mV is rich anything below 350mV is lean. Be mindful that an exhaust leak the size of a pin hole in this region can cause a rough idle. A healthy reading should bounce between 550mV and 350 mV.
Next to test is O2 is working block off air in take making mixture rich and see what O2 says about it . Then pull off a vacuum hose (a lean condition) and see if DVM drops to 200to 300mV's.
Keep me posted.

2010 Toyota Camry LE would stall if I drove too slow. I cleaned the throttle body, but afterwards rpms sat at 2000 while at idle. I'm not sure how to fix this issue.

Question edited for clarity.

Changing the serpentine belt has no bearing on it.

Did you completely remove the Throttle body and clean both sides of carbon? Often, people only clean the side they can see.

Check out the Camry Throttle Body relearn video.

Changed battery and now Camry will not idle.

Was it idling before you changed the battery? If you were to clean out the throat of the aluminum inlet manifold just behind the throttle body with a parts cleaner product that is safe for plastics (sensors) the car will idle.
The engine features a intake valve cover vent that goes back into the front of the throttle body. After time, the vent tube deposits a lot of oil and gunk in the throttle body assembly and just behind it into the intake manifold.

Engine doen't stay idle at steady rpms rev up and down by itself

Either you have a vacuum leak, a bad throttle body position sensor, or a bad throttle body.

If the throttle body is drive by wire (electronic) then it would be a bad throttle body.

If the throttle body is drive by cable (manually driven by a cable connected to the gas peddle) then it would be a bad throttle position sensor.

If the throttle body is bad the check engine light wil lbe on. If it is on have your codes read at your local parts dealer for free, and this will give you a clue as to which pices/parts you need to replace.

Have the car leak tested and the vacuum linse inspected for leaks as well.

Need to locate toyota aurion/camry iac valve

the MAF sensor is between the air filter and throttle body. the idle controll is at the throttle body.  Its located on the throttle body on the left side. Follow the air intake to an intake manifold which sits on top of the throttle body.
