What functions involve wiring in the left engine compartment wire harness of a 1997 Honda Accord?

It might not be a direct swap. Engine codes changed a little along with displacement. Not sure what else may have changed too. If the engine code was the same, then it would likely be a direct drop-in, but now I would wonder about engine mounts, transmission adapters, wiring harness, sensors, etc.

If it has Anti Theft installed yes. If it is part of the ECM not a lot you can do. If it is an after market alarm which It probably is you can pull the in line fuse from the power line that connects the alarm to power and get past that. The fuse will most likely be located in the engine compartment on the power wire that leads to the alarm.

you can't bypass this, this is a vital part of the engine's electronics that sends signals to the computer!!

The Running Lights are BROWN, the RIGHT Turn is GREEN, the LEFT Turn is YELLOW and White is GROUND.

That depends on what motor your accord came with, If was the f22 it does work but requires some mods. Providing that the vechile you are installing it in is OBD1 also.

I dont think so. 95 had 2 different engines. it will be close. you will have to check every connection and it will take some time. id get the correct one for your model and year and it still might be a little different.
