SOURCE: diagram to change fan belt on 1993 buick lesabre

the "serp" belt is self-adjusted by a spring loaded tensioner pulley. the proper size wrench or a 3/8" square drive inserted in the tensioner and rotated will release the tension to allow the belt to come off. reverse order to install. DRAW A PICTURE OF THE ROUTING OF THE BELT AROUND THE PULLEYS BEFORE REMOVING CURRENT BELT!!

SOURCE: 1993 buick lesabre won't start. security light is

The coded key probably needs to relearn. Turn ignition to crank and release. Let sit in on position (engine off of coarse) for a full 10 min. turn off for 30 sec. and repeat 3 times engine should start. This procedure should take 30 min. so a booster is needed to maintain a full 12 volts. Do not attempt w/out a charger connected;

Where is the fuel pump located on a 1993 Buick LeSabre

The fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank, through the top. You must remove the fuel tank first, then you can unlock and pull the fuel pump out of the top. This is the case for pretty much any car or truck made past 1985 that has fuel injection.

I NEED TO KNOW THE TORQUE SPECS FOR THE OIL PAN ON A 1994 BUICK LESABRE 3.8 L. V6

Exploded view of the oil pan and related components - 1993 vehicle shown

48ac114.jpg

* If removed, install the oil pump pipe and screen. Secure with the retaining bolt(s) and tighten to 89 inch lbs. (10 Nm).

* Place a new formed rubber gasket in the oil pan flange.

* Position the oil pan and secure with the oil pan-to-engine bolts. Tighten the bolts to 124 inch lbs. (14 Nm). Do NOT overtighten the bolts, as this will damage the oil pan, causing a leak.

Hope help with this (remembere rated and comment this help).

1993 buick lesabre my oil pump stopped pumping oil in the engine. Where is the oil pump located? do I need to adjust the timing chain?

Oil pumps on these do not go bad. The oil pressure sensor could be bad giving you a false reading. If not the only other thing could be is a clogged up oil pickup screen inside the oil pan. also get a delco pf47 filter

1993 buick lesabre

I'm trying to fix another problem on my lesabre and I saw your question here. I don't know when or if you even will need or read my answer, but I've changed the water pump before on my '93. It's not as impossible as you might think. I'm NOT that mechanically inclined. I'd be happy to describe it in detail if you are interested. Feel free to write me at [email protected], and I'll see if I can help.
