Where is horn located on 2006 Pontiac Montana? Mine blew constantly for long time. Then burning smell. Now doesn't work at all. Switches & relays look OK. Suspect short somewhere in horn wiring.

SOURCE: 2002 pontiac montana passanger pwr window

I beleive you need to change the Power Window Switches Module in the drivers side door panel, as these connections are interlinked within this module and it is usually the first part that fails. Especially that you already changed the switches & motor in the passenger door and it still does not work. Once you remove the dual switch module in the driver's side door, you will understand what I mean. Plus it is really easy to access. Good luck! I have the same model, Claude

Replacing horns on a pontiac montana and the location

I looked at info for 03 montana. Probably a horn on each side, have to remove headlamp. I didn't see model year listed on your post? If horn doesn't work, I'd check wiring diagram for horn, check voltage and ground, before replacing anything. I don't know what testing you've done?

2004 pontiac montana horn doesn't work. Fuse is OK and Relay is OK. What could be the cause?

The horn itself may be faulty, disconnect it and use a voltmeter to see if the voltage changes on the wires feeding it when someone presses the horn button. Most horns are 12V so you should also be able to connect the horn directly to the battery to see if it works. Just get the polarity correct.
The horn switch harness. (the switches and wiring in the steering wheel) Disconnect the negative battery connection before attempting to check this as the air bag is also in that area.

The horn it self try jumping it with a wire from the battery if it doesn't work then you need to replace it

Where is the horn located on a 2003 pontiac montana van? mine needs to be replaced.

It looks like this van gas 2 horns, on each side of the vehicle behind the bumper. Easiest way to get to these would probably be to remove the inner wheel well covers. Try just crawling underneath first to see if you can see them though.
