The O2 sensor on the 3.5L is located towards the rear of the engined mounted in the exhaust manifold.

There is only 4 sensors on a 2000 dodge intrepid and the bank 2 sensor 2 is the sensor located on the right (passenger) side and the one located after the catalytic converter (the one close to the firewall).

Bank one is same side as #1 cylinder. Sensor #2 is after catalytic converter on exhaust. On 3.3L or 3.8L that's rear cylinder on backside on passenger side.

Hi bank 2 is reffering to the side of the engine that the #2 cylinder is on and sensor 1 will be the one up infront of the catylitic converter toward the engine!

Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the same problem and no clear answers for this particular sensor anyway. All talk about downstream or it's on the drivers side front. But not the exact location. So frustrating.
