They are located at each individual wheel.

An output or input speed sensor?

They are located on the drivers side of the transmission. They are yellowish white in color and look identical to each other. You will need a 1 inch socket to remove and replace them.

The 2.7L engine uses coil-on-plug ignition. There is no distributor, and I'm not sure what you mean by 'timing distributor'. If you took something off the engine and don't know how it goes back on, find the correct terminology or include a photo of the part.

make sure inside trunk release in trunk is not stuck in open position also try pulling on to try to release it

This may be accompanied with the power door locks not working also. You may be able to reset it by pulling the fuses in the underhood fuse relay center. The fuse or fuses that may reset the system are sitting in special holders in the relay center that have little clips on the side.They will look different from the other fuses as they have their own little holders. Pull them up and reseat them. Hope this helps
