Looking for help identifying the correct fuse number and rating for the cigarette lighter circuit within the fuse panel (passenger side or driver side? for my Audi A6 TDI 2012 model, right hand drive

In most cases, the cigarette lighter for both the driver and passenger sides of a vehicle are connected to the same fuse. Therefore, it is likely that the same fuse controls both cigarette lighters in your 2005 Chevrolet Express 1500. To determine which fuse controls the cigarette lighters, you should refer to your vehicle's owner's manual, which will provide a diagram of the fuse box and indicate which fuse is associated with the cigarette lighter circuit. Once you have located the appropriate fuse, you can check to see if it is blown and replace it if necessary.

The fuse panel should be up under the dash on driver's side. Not sure if an '89 had more than one fuse panel. If it does, would be on passenger side, in or behind glove box, or up underneath the dash.
Buy a cheap test light to see if your lighter is good, on one that old it could be bad. Also use the test light to check for power at the fuse panel. You can use a test light to check if fuses are good or bad-easy, and you don't even have to pull the fuse out to inspect. A test light can be a big help in looking for voltage signals.

It sure sounds like a fuse may have blown, although the cigarette lighter fuse in most cars does not control the radio, and should have been able to handle the car charger without blowing. Take the lid off the fuse box, either under the hood or inside the car under the dash on the right side or left side of the car, and look for a blown fuse. Usually you can tell if they are blown by looking at them.....but you often have to remove them first, depending on the type of fuse used in your car. The inside of the lid may have a chart that shows which fuse controls the radio.

Hi, You have three fuse panels/boxes on your Saturn. One uner the hood (drivers side) One each in the front kick panels the identification is located on the inside of the cover. The lighter fuse is located in the underhood fuse block. It is a yellow 20 amp fuse lay the cover next to the fuse's then you can identify where its located in the panel Hope this helps

In the Interior Passenger Fuse Box check position 27, 15AMP for Cigar Lighter

Fuse box is on right (passenger) side of dash: open passenger door and it's right there, The # 1 fuse should be for your lighter

Some fuses are in a fuse block on the passenger’s side of the instrument panel. Pull off the cover labeled FUSES to expose the fuses. Check the Position 1 for Cigar Lighter...



Additional fuses are in the underhood electrical centers on the driver’s and passenger’s sides of the engine compartment. Check your 1999 Chevrolet Monte Carlo - Owners Manual.

On some vehicles the cigarette lighter fuse is attached to the cigarette lighter assembly itself. Check if you can gently prise the cigarette lighter assembly out of its location in the dashboard, or remove any panel that may allow access to the rear of the cigarette lighter and look for the fuse (it may be an in-line one in the power lead to the cigarette lighter or it may be physically attached to the cigarette lighter itself). Failing that, the fusebox is normally under the dashboard on the driver side, but some fuseboxes can be found under the dashboard on the passenger side. There should be a diagram under the fusebox cover that shows what circuits each fuse protects. If a fuse has blown ensure that another of the same type and value is used to replace it.

2004 X Type 2.0L Diesel. Tried looking for fuse F68 in the glove box but can only see up to F55. Help please.
