My head lights will not work on low beam...ONLY High. Can it be a fuse?
Could be a fuse or the relay or simpler the elements in the lights blown, yes even both of them.
Ok, I checked the fuses and relays. They are ok.I checked the fuse panel under the drivers side steering wheel and the main fuse box under the hood on drivers side. Is their ANOTHER fuse panel I should find? Where is it and what fuses/relays could affect the low beams and cause them not to come on? The low beam elements seem good.
Also, my ABS indicator light is on...altho its not my top priority...could this be connected to the low beams not working? So far Im leaning towards the multi function switch being the issue. Im hoping for a simpler fix.
Good for you Will, you did trace it down. To know for sure. Replace the switch. Then tear the old switch down/apart. This will tell you what went bad. I already know as I have dissected to many of them. Some can be fixed. But not your problem.... Plastic parts.

No. it's the turn signal switch/multi function switch.. All exterior lights run from it except the high mount brake light. Replace the turn signal switch.

Hey Randy. On my explorer...I have a new developement. The low beams SOMETIMES come on,but usually only 1.Here is where it gets weird.I can physically go touch the other one thats not working and it comes on easily. Then I experience no further issues while driving. What the heck am I dealing with here? A short? I need to know where to look.I am hoping fo an easy fix.lol
not so sure its the multi function switch anymore.
What are you touching? The plug/wires for/at the light? If so repair or replace the plug. They do were out.
