Cant put into gear. Errors anti pollution sytem failure. Low oil pressure

For the past 6 weeks I have had issues with my peugoet been to mechanics 3 times.. i consistantly get depollution system failure orange engine light on. About 6 weeks ago after service bad oil leak. Mechanic replaced rocket cap and seals, crank shaft seals, oil housing filter as everytime service was done there was a small leak for about 5 days... i always have to top up oil levels after 2 months.. the car always seemed to run well. 2 weeks later depollution came back. Fan belt would not turn off. So they replaced coils and plugs as car engine was jumping.. car seemed to run fine.. last week driving to work i noticed oil pressure low came on dash.. i pulled over checked oil cap was ok. But i took cap off and noticed white smoke coming from engine was a fair bit. Didnt like what i saw but error went when i drove home.. no engine lights or depollution system failure.. i drove it in morning car ran well. On return home car went well but i was at lights put car in first gear then i heard a small clunk and second failed actually i couldnt use any gears.. clutch and gears seemed to be working just car wouldnt ingage them.. this car had to be towed home where it now can stay... Im truelly done with it... Any ideas cause im over mechanics too. I have had this car on computer endless times.. Lost faith in it for time being.. this will be 4 times in 6 weeks its going back.. was a beautiful car once but a dying case now... Any info would be greatly appreciated... im thinking mayb pistons in engine who knows its a peugoet...

Change mechanics --or bring back and have them fix correctly when they did the engine work doesnt sound like was done correctly and now you may have a bigger problem

Anti pollution light on Peugeot 207 vti

If the anti-pollution light on your Peugeot 207 VTi is on, it usually indicates a problem with the vehicle's emission control system. This light may appear in different ways, depending on the model and year of your vehicle, but it usually looks like a picture of an engine with "check" written on it.
Here are some steps you can take to address this issue:
  1. Check the gas cap: A loose or damaged gas cap can cause the anti-pollution light to come on. Make sure the gas cap is tightened securely and that it is not damaged.
  2. Check the oxygen sensor: The oxygen sensor is responsible for monitoring the level of oxygen in the exhaust and adjusting the fuel-to-air ratio. If the sensor is damaged or malfunctioning, it can cause the anti-pollution light to come on. A qualified technician can diagnose and repair the sensor.
  3. Check the catalytic converter: The catalytic converter is responsible for converting harmful pollutants into less harmful gases. If the converter is damaged or malfunctioning, it can cause the anti-pollution light to come on. A qualified technician can diagnose and repair the converter.
  4. Check the air filter: A dirty or clogged air filter can cause the engine to run rich, which can lead to increased emissions and the anti-pollution light to come on. Replace the air filter if necessary.
If none of these steps solve the problem, it is best to consult a qualified mechanic to diagnose and repair the issue

A/T issues, scan it for errors.

or read the chapter in the FSM (100 odd pages)
read "on car service" A/T
there are many steps.
ever do the service every 50k? with filter?// oops.....

1: fuses check them all.
2: fluid levers.
3: shift lever linkage failure.
4: see DTC errors (scan it)
5: do the stall test. (it fails) (my guess)
6: do the tranny pump pressure tests,
7: and more....... RTM

On a dashbord flashing "oil

STOP the engine immediately !!! There is an oil pump failure of 2.0 TDI engines !
Remove the oil pan and the oil pump & balancer shafts assembly.

tdisline_456.jpg

Either the shaft driving the pump from the balance shaft rounds off or the balance shaft drive gears eat themselves.
The same issue ... low oil pressure warning light, noisy rattling engine, and the turbo has gone. Diagnosis: oil pump balancer shaft assembly ...

Many 2.0 TDI engines show excess chain noise and wear anywhere from 50,000-100,000+ miles. Cars have broken the chains/tensioner as low as 65,000 miles. This is just a range of cars that have been reported, diagnosed, and repaired. The actual statistics on dealer repairs or failures is unknown and I've heard cars over 100,000 miles that, in my opinion as a non mechanic (most mechanics wouldn't recognize this sound and problem either), aren't noisy. From what has been reported, noticeable noise/chain-tensioner wear/greater risk of breaking is around 60,000-150,000 miles. Your case may vary. The most obvious symptom is a rattling loose noise from the oil pan. Unless you listen to a Passat TDI with a tight chain and one with a loose chain, it's hard to describe the difference other than rattling chain noise.
The reason the gear drive oil pump modification was started is because a few mechanics who specialize in TDI have seen many worn oil pump chains/sprockets/tensioners. There will always be a few defective parts that come off the assembly line and all mechanical components like chains wear out sooner or later, but in my opinion, the failure rate is abnormal considering the number of Passat TDI sold versus the number of reported oil pump failures. This does not necessarily mean that every or even most Passat TDI will have this problem, just that the reported failure rate is high enough to consider this part a design failure. Nobody, not even VW-Audi knows the average time between failure for these parts and the percentage of cars that will have this problem, but they changed this design and if you want to not have this specific failure, the only sure way is to swap to the geared module.

2005 mazda 3 2.3l that is burning oil (no leaks)

possibly the pcv but check if your cars exhaust smoke is blueish or white in color if it does and your car doesnt have an oil leak then sure its burning engine oil along with fuel, the piston rings is defective, since you replaced engine oil the additive that the owner has put with the oil to prevent blowby is gone thats why it starts burning oil.....

White smoke from tailpipe and low oil pressure

How's the anti-freeze doing? Usually when you see white smoke coming out the tailpipe it's because you are getting anti-freeze in the exhaust somehow. Try to sniff it a little does smell like anti-freeze, or oil? I don't know why the oil pressure would be low unless you are getting anti-freeze in the oil. Does the oil look milky, knda like chocolate milk? The low oil pressure could also be a faulty gauge, you may want to have a mechanic put a mechanical gauge on the car for test purposes.

Oil pressure

Hi. Your symptoms are a strong indication of major sludge build up in the block region. This type of thick build up will clog up the oil ports, thus, reducing the normal flow of lubricant throughout the engine. This will cause fluctuating oil pressure, as well. Although this issue is a common cause of your symptoms, there are others. The next cause of fluctuating oil pressure will be a failing oil pump. This device can fail mechanically(gear failure). When this occurs, the engine oil will not circulate properly, thus causing the symptoms you are experiencing.

In conclusion, This type of problem will require you to administer a manual oil pressure test. This will confirm the oil pump failure. If the pressure test reveals that, indeed, the engines pressure readings are low, the oil pump will be the culprit. I recommend to administer a engine flush, and change the oil pump and oil pump screen, as well. Now, if the manual pressure test reveals that the pressure is optimal, this will indicate that the presser switch(sending unit) is faulty.

Oil pressure light comes on.message says stop engine now.what are possible solutions.engine has 151,000 miles.i change oil every 3000 to 4000 miles

HI.There are only two possible issue here that will cause this to occur. The first issue will be a failing, or damaged oil pressure switch(sending unit). The sending unit is responsible for transmitting the correct information to the instrument that displays the pressure readings. If there is a wiring issue, or the sending unit has failed, this will cause the oil light to illuminate. In this case, the sending unit must be replaced. Ok, the next issue will be a failed oil pump. This will be the most common issue, in this case, due to the actual mileage on this particular vehicle. A oil pump can fail mechanically(gear failure). This device is not repairable, and must be replaced. The easiest way to isolate the issue, will be to preform a pressure test on the engine. There is a special tool, used by your mechanic, that will allow you, or him, to extract the true pressure readings for the engine, during idle. If the pressure test confirms that the oil pressure is low, or weak, this will lead to a failed oil pump. Now, if the pressure test indicates that the engine is running at optimal pressure range, this will indicate that the oil pressure switch(sending unit), is faulty. It must be replaced.
