Could be a bad wiring harness, or just a loose connection under the seat where the power module connects to the cars wiring harness, it could also just be a simple matter of a loose fuse making partial contact from time to time. Hope this helps. .... ohhh also if the seat has been wet it could be causing the motor (s) in the seat adjustment unit (s) to short out.

There's a lever that connects the driver-side rear shock to the Automatic Level Control module (the air compressor and the ride-height sensor). Disconnect the lever from the shock and rotate it up and hold it. The compressor should kick in when you hold in place after a few seconds. If it doesn't kick in, make sure your fuses and relays are good. Otherwise, you may have a failed ALC module/burned out air compressor (from the shocks being shot). After you replace the shocks (and after you recouped from the heart attack you had when you shelled out $500+ for each shock), replace the ALC module/compressor (it's all one unit), and test it - it should kick on when you rotate the lever up again.
Figure about $350 for the ALC module from your dealer, and make sure the part numbers match! Your truck came with an upgraded ALC module from the 2001-2004 module, which were prone to water damage.
Good luck!

there is one fuse for all the dash gauges, so chances are you have a wiring problem to the gauge sender on the engine or the gauge is defective, which is rare.
SOURCE: my power seat stopped working in my 2003 Yukon XL.
Try this remove the ckt breaker for the power seats the ckt breaker is located in the fuse box inside down by the drivers left foot. leave breaker out for about 10 seconds then reinstall it and see if the seat starts moving. If it does there is a reprogram for this and needs to be done by a dealer or someone who has access to be able to reprogram your vech.
several things could cause your heated seats to not work. If the seat and heated seat seat stopped at the same time could be the reprogram could fix it. If the heated seat quit working at a differant time it could be the seat heater element. get a schematic of the heated seat and ohm the wires for the element. If either element tests open then the element will need to be replaced. You might as well replace both of them at the same time since the seat covers have to come off to replace the seat heaters.(back and bottom ) If one element is bad then both heaters quit working.

hello, have someone check all fuses-and plugs for the power seat, they may be a relay for this problem, can call autoparts store and ask about any relays for the heated seats and the power seat, if thats not it you may have to replace, electric motor for seat, sounds like a fuse, the way it all quit working..

There's a switch between the sunroof switches and the rear seat fold-down switches. That switch deactivates the automatic operation of the tailgate. I hit mine inadvertently and didn't figure it out for a week. The dealer didn't know either.
