Location of airbag module 2005 Chevy Classic 2.2L 4dr Sedan

It is under the rear passenger seat cushion, it is marked as item 3 in diagrams below.

Oney, I think the airbag ECU is under the drivers seat, under carpet
or could be under center console if equipped. Seat or console will have to be removed to access. Check the attached links,instruction and guides, Good luck

Please define a PVC valve. I've been a Chevy guy for 45 years and have never heard of such a device.

Take it to a dealer if you play with it ,it more then likely will deploy and cost many dollars.

I don't know but my first check would be on youtube.

the module is located under the center console , CAUTION WHEN WORKING ON AIR BAG SYSTEM, A CERTIFIED TECH SHOULD BE THE ONLY ONE TO WORK ON SYSTEM. this will avoid false deployment or failure of system in a crash.

I can not find specifically where is is located in an Ion, but the airbag control module is located under the driver's seat in many types of cars and trucks.

Pull out the dip stick for the transmission, use a transmission funnel and pour in the transmission fluid.

Most of the time it's in the middle of the car under the center consol(consol with stereo) , SRS module usually mounted on the floor.

it is positioned in the very centre of the dash board, behind the radio/Air con unit, it is bolted to the floor, you will need to remove the dash board and possibly the air con unit to access. once the module and air bags have been replaced it shouldnt need anything else.
