Sarah, The Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor on your Kia is located below rad hose driver side by exhaust manifold. May be a good time to flush coolant system when changing sensor.

you need to burp the system lift vehicle so front wheels are higher then back and run vehicle with heat on and coolant resivour cap off for about 30 mins

on transmission has 2 wires at right side of trans .by axel
