Check to see if your heating system is properly filled. Air in system can often prevent the proper flow of hot coolant into the radiator core resulting in your issue.

may have diconnected a connection to AC unit when replacing battery?? start with this.........also check AC fuse in fuse box,,,could be blown....good kuck and if you find this info helps then please rate my post and thank you in advance..

Go to Midas,they do great A.C.work,your Freon may have leaked out,they can test for a charge of 19.95..

you need to get your ac serviced and computer checked for an air conditioning system code/malfunction. when the light in the button flashes it means a problem has set a code in your body control module that controls the ac.

I had the same problem with my 2007 passat. The external ait temperature sensor measures the outside air temp and displays this on your dashboard computer. If this sensor is not working properly it can cause your ac to blow hot air. If there is a little snowflake symbol by the air temp on your display that is an indication that this sensor may be bad. Get this sensor replaced and it should fix your problem.

On the bottom of the air unit is the lever that changes temps. It likes to fall out of place.I propped mine back with a piece of half-inch copper pipe a couple of years ago.Remove glove box then panel on front side of console to access.
