No power to fuel pump 1989 f150 5.8 eng.

Fuse is blown or the fuel pump relay is defective. This is assuming all wiring to the pump is good. Are you sure the pump itself has not just failed? After all this is a 22 year old vehicle and if the pump has never been replaced I would bet it has failed.

I have a 1999 f150 it won't firer up when trying to start it up and you can't here the fuel pump when the key is turned to the on position

chances are your fuel pump is bad then. Check your fuse box for a blown fuse first. Then take a multimeter and try to check power at the pump. If you are getting power to the pump then the pump is bad. If not, then you have a wiring problem.

Feul pump malfuntion after stereo installation 94 ford f150 It ran fine when it was parked installed a new stereo and it won't start both fuel pumps seemed to have stopped working..

Check you Inertia switch, known as the crash switch. This can be set off by vibration or impact and all you do is press the reset button on the switch for 3 seconds.
If this does not work check the fuse. If it is not blown check the fuse socket with the ignition on to see if the power is dead to the fuse. If you have power to the fuse then you need to check for power at the fuel pump.

1997 Ford F150 Electric Fuel Pump will npt pump

Did you check the fuel inertia switch in the passenger side kick panel ?

The fuel pump is powered :
the fuse to the fuel pump relay.
The fuel pump relay to the fuel inertia switch
The fuel inertia switch to the fuel pump itself.

At the fuel inertia switch in the kick panel, power from the relay is the Dark Green w/ Yellow stripe wire and the pink w/ black stripe wire is the power. from the fuel inertia switch to the fuel pump.

If you jumper the fuel pump relay, you should hear it run. If not pull the fuel pump relay, and check the pins in the relay socket, pin 30 should be the power from the fuse.

If you have power at pin #30, jumper the relay socket as shown with the red line above, and check the dark green w/ yellow stripe wire at the fuel inertia switch for power.
Press the button on the top of the fuel inertia switch, and check for power leaving the fuel inertia switch on the pink w/ black stripe wire.

This is tests good, check for power at the fuel pump, same pink w/ black stripe wire.
Fuel inertia switch info is in the owners manual, If you did not get an owners manual with your truck ( purchased used ), you can download one from Ford :

fuel pump relay, or the simplest solution check the fuse block to see if you have a blown fuse. Most likely its the relay, but check the fuse block, under the dash and under the hood, maybe you'll get lucky. Good Luck.

1990 ford F150 4 x 4 5L

Then the engine fuse may be blown it will be marked ECM I think, the fuel pump and injector circuits are two seperate systems, the fuel pump most likely has a stuck relay.
