I would say the key thing has nothing to do with the window going back up . If it were a power problem , it would affect all windows . They all get B+ voltage from the accessory delay relay , located in the central junction box, under dash panel, LH side .Which switch are you using , driver or the switch at that door . or does it make a difference ? Do you know how to do electrical testing . I would say it's a switch or motor problem for that window . Automotive Electric Window and Switch Troubleshooting Repair Guide
Hi
it happen with me also actually the problem is the power window get jammed from the inner part..... you if you able to open it just open now clean it well then spray the lube into it and for a long time it work properly..... thankyou
wiring harness should be under the left side. covers on the floor area , next to the seats....... in the post area, that your front door locks into , and the hinge area on the rear door..... wiring is wrapped in main harness....
The next time the seat is inoperable pull the switch out and test it for a voltage signal that should be present when the button in question is operated. The switch is the most common issue that I have seen, but hold on replacing it until the switch is tested.
All the windows are on the same fuse, if the other windows are working fine, it's not a fuse issue. I susppect the motor or the window regulator. With your ear close to the door panel, press the window switch up and down, if you hear the motor and grinding noises then the window regulator needs to be replaced, if you don't hear anything then the motor is bad OR no power is getting to the motor. either way you will have to take the door panel off and to fix.
