run the fault codes
could be a broken timing belt or chain
could have blown the main power fuse next to the battery ( around 80 amps ) and that would have switched everything off
NO! Please do not put your child in the front seat in any vehicle if your car has a back seat. The manufacturer will tell you this in your owners manual and on the sticker inside the door. A child seat in the front seat will not shut off the air bag. Depending on your model for that year, you may or may not have a keyslot on the dash to shut the passengers side airbag off. If you don't have it, please, please don't put your child in the front seat.
WATER LEAK IN RIGHT FRONT OF PASSENGER COMPARTMENT
Publication Date: January 17, 2006
FORD:
2005/06 Freestyle ISSUE:
Some 2005 Freestyle vehicles may exhibit a water leak at the right front passenger compartment. This may be due to grommet for rear washer fluid line at dash not being fully seated. ACTION:
Inspect windshield washer grommet from inside vehicle under dash and properly seat if out of position. Pull carpet back and reach under bulkhead pad to install. Removal of instrument panel is not required. (Figure 1)
The light is on because the SRS computer detected excessively low voltage, likely right before your battery failed/was replaced. To clear the light you will need to take it to a dealer or a repair shop with a Mitsubishi-compatible SRS scantool.
This happens so frequently, I never charge customers for clearing SRS lights that are related to battery changes (code will be IG low voltage A and B).
Your seat belt locks have tenstioner switches attached to them.If you look under the seats you will see the wires.Disconnect the wires from the plugs and clean and replace.you should put the fuse back in and try.Good luck.
Check under the drivers and passengers front seat for electrical cables. sometimes the connections can get disturbed by feet or items that have rolled under the seats (specially if you have kids)making a bad connection of the cables
As for the rear door window mechanism, you must remove the door trim pad and you will see the mechanism with its electrical motor etc, just undo the bolts and remove it. Hope this helps
you need to have the airbag system checked...srs stands for supplemental restraint system....as long as that light is o the airbag may or may not work or may go off when it shouldnt
