normally there is only one earth wire on a battery as all units earth through this wire to the negative terminal. I would not bother trying to reconnect the cut wires as this will lead to problems further on. Go to a wrecker that handles you model vehicle and get the positive terminal wiring loom and replace all the cut wires . Leave the negative terminal off while you are doing this.
Do not leave it loose as it is dangerous for any shortage and might cause the unexpected. What to do follow my advice firstly if you know anything about electrics the go on if not take it to an expert Electrician. If you know just remove the battery Positive terminal leave it for 5 minutes without doing anything and then move the seat for easy access and repair the wire with proper connectors go according to wire colors to much. Re connect and I believe the light will go off or you might need a scanner to reset it.
Hi, This seems like the automatic choke is not working best & easy way is get a choke cable from scrap yard & and use that and ignore the automatic choke. I dont know how many miles your spark plugs have done but if over 10,000 then it's worth changing the spark plugs at same time. Please leave me feed back: Malcolm Campbell, Thanks.
there is two connectors that plug into the stock radio, one is white and one is black,if someone has cut yours off,the best thing you could do is visit a local salvage yard and tell them you need the two radio connectors ,tell them when they cut them out to leave you about four inches of wire from each connector. then take them home and your color codes are all there and the same.
