Lots of folks don't use torque values for spark plugs but best practice is to do it. Aluminum heads make this much more critical and be sure to coat plug threads with anti-seize also, but don't get any on the tip. When buying plugs, ask the parts store gap to use and torque spec.

Never have used torque specs. Keep in mind. If the plug has a metal gasket, snug it down, add 1/4 turn. If the plug is beveled, snug it down add 1/16 turn. But I believe the torque is 17 foot pounds.

How do I replace the spark plugs?

This requires a certain amount of mechanical skills and knowledge of how to use a torque wrench properly. To begin the process know that the spark plugs are recessed deep in the valve cover. Follow the high tension 8mm wires from their individual coil-paks directly to the respective plug and carefully remove. Now using a 5/ 8" deep well plug socket and an 8-10 extension carefully remove the plugs. Install new plugs (spec per mfg.) I like the iridium then platinum, but check to ensure gap is correct before installing the new plugs. Now take plug and insert into plug socket then carefully lower into recess until you contact threads lightly. Rotate plug clockwise with very little pressure keeping plug socket 90 degrees until you get proper thread engagement. Continue installation of each plug then torque to spec, and reinstall all wires.
