By now I would guess you have replaced the battery in the vehicle. Batteries always struggle during winter if they are getting old or run down after a lot of short runs and use of the heater blower, windscreen wipers, electric rear window heater and headlights.
Nothing beats a garaged car for being easy on the battery........and giving it at least a 10 mile run every weekend at speed keeps the condensation out of the engine, oil and exhaust systems.

SOURCE: ignition problems during wet weather

Replace the distributor cap, rotor and ignition wires with Genuine Nissan Parts and you should be ok.

My 2003 chevy tahoe won't start in the morning

Many possible causes....Too little info to make an intelligent suggestion. Try charging the problem vehicle's battery with jumper cables for 2 minutes with the supply vehicle running at fast idle (or about 1500-2000 RPM, if it is tachometer equipped) before you try to crank the problem vehicle on a cold morning. If it starts right up, you likely have a weak battery that needs replacing.

My 2005 Saturn ION will not start once in a while. It's random. Checked for loose wires, etc... everything is good??? If i wait about ten minutes and then try it, it will start up.

My 2005 did the same thing. It was the ignition switch. Happened mostly when it was a cold morning. Seems to be a common problem.

Car starts poorly during cold mornings. The idle

Sounds like a cold start valve (which is actually an additional injector in the intake to assist in cold starting) If you can get it to your local prts store while the light is on they will read the codes for free and tell you what the car thinks is amiss.

2004 Chrysler Sebring it hesitates when I crank it up in the morning, however once it's been cranked up several times during the day it doesn't hesitate, only on cold starts. What could be wrong

The fuel filter should be changed first.
The engine fuel pressure over night is bleeding down into the fuel tank. I would suggest a tune up . If the condition continues after a tune up. The fuel pump is starting to go. You should then have a mechanic check out the fuel system and have the vehicle diagnose.

Starting issue

Assuming the dealer determined that the ECM and ignition systems are not the problem, take a look at the fuel pump. It's easy. The next time you go to start the vehicle put the ignition switch in the ON position (not start) and listen for the fuel pump winding up. The engine won't be cranking so you'll be abe to hear it. Listen closely...its not very loud and only lasts for about 2 seconds. It sounds like ZZZZZP. If you cannot hear it from the driver's seat have someone listen from outside near the rear of the vehicle. Get used to doing this every time you start the vehicle. If you cannot hear the fuel pump and the vehicle does not start when cranking the engine its probably an intermittent fuel pump failure. Take the vehicle to a reputable repair shop as the pump is located within the gas tank.
