SOURCE: i have a 1988 ford bronco full size xlt it is ideling low when u

I just had the same issue with my 88 xlt w/351 W it wound up being the MAP sensor and the timing. I would check both of these and see if it solves your issue.

SOURCE: no power to electric fuel pump 88 5L 302

check the fuel pump relay this sends the power to the fuel pump,

also has the car been in a smash even a small one if so the car may be fit with a enersher switch that cuts off the fuel circuit.

recommend you by a repair manual from your local parts retailer for the exact locations of these 2 units

SOURCE: 1987 FORD FULL SIZE BRONCO FUEL PROBLEM, SHUTS DOWN

The only way air can get in the fuel line is if you have a hole in it! Problem of course is were? I would run the fuel line from back to front and back again. Look for any wet spot that you can find. You may even have to drop the tank to ba able to look on top. I would suspect the problem is in the line before the high preasure pump, being as you are pulling air into the system. I have seen leaky lines allow air in, but not let fuel out.

Where is fuel filter on 1988 ford bronco?

I believe you will find your fuel filter on the driver side frame rail. There is also a little device that in the event of a roll over cuts off the power to the fuel pump. It is usually located in the passenger side kick panel of most Ford's. There is a button on it. If it is popped out you need to press it in to reset it. It is similar to a GFI. Ground fault interrupt circuit.

Fuel shut off where is it located ???

for full size Bronco
Your vehicle's inertia switch is located behind the left side of the dash, above the brake pedal behind kick panel, there should be a hole to push reset button down. Just flip the switch back to ON position

The emission light came on in my 1987 full size bronco, vehicle is running normal.........any ideas?

Did you check the gas cap? On newer cars this is often the problem. Sometimes it will go off after fixing the cap, but othertimes it might need to be reset by someone with a scan tool.
