Aveo 2006 has an Engine light ON and Car is shaking when trying accelerate. Car is not been able to pick up the speed with putting full pressure on the accelerator.

Just 4 days back, the Aveo had a regular oil change service from Chevy Authorized Dealer. It was running smooth till yesterday while coming back from work. When I turned the Car ON, the Engine light pop up and car started shaking. I waited for few minutes to warm up and then started driving but car was neither been able to pick up the speed nor RPM. Even though pushing the full accelerator pedal, the car couldn't speed up. What kind of problem it would be? Is it worth fixing the problem

Yeah, it's worth it. Probably a coil pack. But this is a guess. When you take it to a garage and they diagnose it. They tell you this is the fix. They are liable.

2006 Aveo has low fuel economy. Changed out thermostat because it was not keeping temp at acceleration. Now the temp is stable, but still seems low at 180 F and still have bad gas mileage. No check engine...

Many things can contribute to low fuel economy, tire pressure, driving style, milage, and state of the servicing.
What sort of milage does the car have?
Has it had a tune up recently?
Air filter condition?
Fuel filter condition?
Transmission service if milage dictates?

I have vitz 2006, 1300cc, when i starts the car and start driving its response are fantastic mean pick up is excellent and no knocking, but as the engine became hot, the pick became DULL, and engine s

The reasons are follows:
- Contaminated fuel.
- Knock sensor poor performance.
- Check exhaust system. If clogged, remove or replace the honey comb porcelain.
- Check ignition timing with scan tool at idle speed. (5 - 8 degrees BTDC).
- Check engine oil level. If the oil level is low, it may be one of the reasons for knocking, because oil may be burning during the combustion.
- Check fuel pump pressure. ( 41 - 49 psi).
- Remove negative battery terminal for 5 Sec or more. Reconnect the terminal. Close all doors, remove all electrical loads like room light, parking lights, blower motor etc. Start the engine and hold the throttle at 3000 rpm till the radiator fan becomes on to complete the idle speed relearn process. Release accelerator pedal after the radiator fan becomes on, and let it idle for 7 min more.
- Switch off the engine for 3 sec and you can then start and drive the car comfortably.
Hope that works.

VW shaking

sounds like the fuel pressure regulator but first try new fuel filter and maybe clean spark plugs and reset them

Car won't pick up speed on acceleration

You're not getting enough fuel. You should check your fuel pressure. If you have enough fuel pressure, your injectors are probably clogged up. Run a lot of fuel cleaner through your tank when you put gas in and see if it makes any difference. Lucas fuel treatment is the best to use.

Pushed acceleration on freeway to 50-70 miles does not run smooth and shakes.

Could be any number of things, lets eliminate the transmission. Put the car in park and throttle the engine, is it snappy then? Or does it slowly rev up? If it still runs funny or isn't snappy, the tranny is not the problem. So it could be, weak fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, or a ditributor problem. Could be a sensor to, but I've had 4 corollas and have never had a MAF sensor or others go out yet. I have had problems with the items I listed.
