My 2003 dodge Durango started and ran fine yesterday then last night it got down to -18 and now it turns over and attempts to fire but won't fire. We put heat in it but it still won't start. Help please.

Weak spark, flooded spark plugs, low fuel pressure, or low octane fuel are a few possible causes.

CHECK BATTERY, MAY BE GOOD TO TURN OVER BUT NOT ENOUGH VOLTAGE TO FIRE FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM. ALSO COULD BE A FUEL PUMP OR CRANK/CAM SENSORS..GOOD LUCK

Check the fuel pump when you turn the key forward but dont crank it and see if you hear the fuel pump engaging. I hope this helps.

SOURCE: wont start

Sounds the starter is no good (sometimes they'll work intermittently for a while before they totally **** out). Of course it could just be a starter wiring problem (sending wire).

Hello; Can you please advise me on what the problem solution could be? I have a 2003 Dodge Durango. This morning when I tried to start the vehicle it just turns over and over without firing. Battery

You need to determine if you have spark at the spark plugs and fuel pressure to the fuel rail. If you do have spark and fuel pressure I would look to the pick up in the distributor as that is what fires the injectors. If you do not have fuel pressure look to the fuel pump relay first, if it is good you are probably looking at a fuel pump. If it has no spark look at the coil or the crank sensor. If everything tests good then ECU.

My 2002 dodge durango wont start ran fine yesterday now it just cranks over and over but wont fire

Does your durango have a security system? Sometimes it may require a keyed entry of the drivers door, but i doubt thats your problem. One thing Durango's are cleptic on is their ability to act all sorts of awkward on a low battery. Maybe a good idea to try a known good battery before we jump into anything further. Any CEL's btw?

2002 Dodge Durango won't start?

fuel pump is working?and how about spark ign coil? I recommend investing in spark tester! also sit in side windows up nice and quite turn key all the way do not crank it! do you hear grrrrrr that would be your fuel pump no grunt no pump if so!! I would consider looking into no spark if I were you good places to start!
