Delete stored addresses in navigation system

Address book on Navigation has stored address, but I need to delete them. How do I delete them when the delete button is not highlighted which allows me to delete it.

Go to hard DEST button...MENU...NAV (at top)...
Go to Edit Address Book (Edit/View)
choose address
Delete

THERE IS USUALLY A FUSE BEHIND THE UNIT IT SELF AND CHECK YOUR FUSE BOX

IT MIGHT BE UNDER THE STEERING WHEEL CLOSER TO THE DRIVER DOOR OR UNDER THE HOOD CLOSE TO THE BATTERY OR ACROSS ON THE PASSENGER SIDE

SOURCE: Navigation system at Yukon xl 2008 does not read the map DVD

I shipped my 2006 Yukon Denali from USA to Saudi Arabia. When I to purchase the Middle East map DVD for the navigation system. GM Navigation answered me that they do not have the middle east DVD and I should contact the European branch. The dealer in Saudi Arabia is asking for $1200 for the disc and I know it is worth no more than $400. Could you please direct me to someone who sells the 06 Denali navigation map DVD? Thanks..

You will need to go to the dealer for a software update,the RA4 has a recent update that may address this issue and the dealer may be the only way to get it.Go to the system info on the radio and see if the software version is at least 14.0. if it's 13.48???? it needs the update

My 2005 navigation systemfor Rl. The address book is gone as is the go home spot.

05 Acura RL reset Address Book, Calendar, and Go Home gray out.

Close the door, use remote and press both lock and unlock at the same time until you see red light on the remote blink. Then release and press unlock. It will fix the problem. I call Tustin Acura dealer and got the answered.

How can I delete default cities or addresses in my 2001 LS430 navigation system? I have the 2002 manual, which has a different screen interface. Once I input several letters in an address, it pulls up...

It sounds as though you need to go into the NAV settings and change your search region.
There are 10 geographic regions in North America which will show in the preliminary zone set ups.
Get a manual from your nearest Lexus dealer, better yet ask for a quick walk though of the Nav System from an experienced Sales rep ( one who was there around when the car sold new)... at HIS or HER convenience. Call ahead and respect his time and you should get all the help you need.

Navigation system is locked up after battery replacement

Found the SN and CODE on the white label attached to the side of the glovebox. SN begins with a "B" followed by 8 numbers. The 4 digit code can be entered into the navigation system to unlock & reset the unit after a power disconnect.

Jaguar Xtype navi routing not working

I had the same problem. What you need to do is clear the waypoint locations from the system. To do this hit the "nav" button, get to destination menu and locate the waypoint icon and touch. Delete all waypoint locations shows up at the bottom. Touch button, which will delete all waypoint locations and it will work again. Just to be safe, I cleared all of my stored locations including previous destinations
