SOURCE: Need to replace tail light bulb on 1996 Buick Century

Inside the trunk, under the carpet behind the tail lights will be a whole bunch of small plastic nuts, running from one side of the car to the other. Take all of these plastic nuts off, and the whole tail light assembly will come off in one large piece. Find the bulb you need to replace, and reassemble

SOURCE: 1996 buick regal 3.8L. Rear brakes loud thumping

Check for leaks in the brake lines and calipers or brake cylinders. If leaking have it repaired right away its not safe. Change the brake fluid, take the old fluid out add new fluid or have it professionally done.

98 buick century. Brake lights and headlights not working, but 3rd brake light is. No bli kkers or 4 ways. Need schematic or a good idea where to look. Thanks

Click on the link. This is for stop lamps, Your lower brake lamps are wired through the multifunction switch. The high-mount brake lamp isn't wired that way.
At the rear, stop lamps, right side, dark green wire is voltage for stop lamps, black wire is ground. For the left rear, stop lamp, yellow wire is voltage, black is ground.
At the moment, I think your multifunction switch is faulty?

I have a 1996 buick century the back 2 middle lights domy get any power would that make my right side brake light fail

A bad ground on the middle lights could cause the brake light to go out. Also, a bad ground on the brake light would cause it to go out. Check all your grounds.
A lack of power to the 2 middle lights shouldn't cause that problem. See if the wires to the middle lights tie onto wires for other lights and check right there for voltage.
Check your fuse, if the fuse is good, go on back from there to the lights that aren't working.
That's how I'd do it, anyway. Garcuda

1996 Buick Century 6 cyl. The brake lights stay on after the ignition is turned off. Where is the brake light switch located and how do I remove it?

Hello

The break light switch is down under the dash. Follow the brake pedal up and your hand will hit it. Release the tabs and slowly pull the connector out and the lights should turn off.

have a great weekend.
