Most likely is the 'resistor' that controls the fan speed. try 'jumping it' with a 10 gauge wire--blower should run on max speed.

SOURCE: How do I replace the heater blower motor on a 1989 190e

Hello, The blower motor is located below the windshield wiper assembly. You have to remove the plastic cover that below the windshield then remove the wiper assembly, then you will see the blower housing. Remove the screws from the housing then remove housing cover. Look close because some of the screws are hard to see. Once you get the cover off, you will see the motor and there is a metal strap that holds it down. Take a punch or whatever and stick it in hole in the strap and push down. Then the motor will come out.
I hope this helps.

SOURCE: need to locate fuel filter on 1989 mercedes benz

Hi,

The fuel filter is located on the right rear underside of the car, just ahead of the rear axel area. You need to remove the cover to find it. It is the large canister next to the electric fuel pump.

Thanks.

No trying find the blower motor fuse on a 1987 300Ebenz

Under the hood in back right corner-open fuse box and I believe it is #7
But you have 2 other fan fuses. Directly in front of the fuse box is a small black plastic box that has a fuse as well. My Mercedes has had the same problems.
I recently had the ac fan blower motor changed and I now have a working panel of buttons. The 1987 300e also has reports of the control heads in the temp control buttons having to be replaced. so far- I have had my temp sensor, fan blower motor changed and no problems.

There is a Blower Motor Relay in that system. It is located behind the center of the instrument panel, on connector i27.If it's not the faulty relay, then it is the blower motor .

The blower is controlled by the blower motor in the unit. The blower motor needs to be checked and replaced. The blower motor. The brushes are probably worn and the brushes, or the motor, needs to be replaced. It is located under the front cowl. Check out.Thanks.
