Your a/c should not blow cold air-- is the switched turned on inside your truck - yes there needs to be a belt and it a round compressor with a clutch on the front of it - located on the front top side of your motor

2009 chevy AVEO 5 ac blows hot air

The guage needs to read between 35/40 psi.. If its much higher you may be overfull, this causes it to not cool.. Fix by letting some freon out, then top it back to needed pressure.. If pressure is correct, it would be a clog in the system.. Usually an orafice tube or accumulator..good luck!

1997 chevy silverado blows hot air only through vents

If you know for a fact the compressor is running and one of the lines is cold, I would look for a blend door problem. The blend doors direct air thru the heater and evaporator.

2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 z71 4x4 the ac wont kick off after key is out of the ignition and it only blows hot air.

I am assuming you mean the blower will not stop with the key off.
The compressor can't run with the engine off.
I would look for a stuck blower relay.

When i turn my A/C on it blows hot air and there is a leek on my pasenger side dash board. what is it

Had exact same problem with my 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500. Would blow hot air thru drivers vents only and sometimes if I turned truck off and restarted would blow air conditioner for a bit. Rec'd recall letter from Chevrolet in January for this problem.

My chevy silverado keeps blowing the 40A fuse for the AC

the windings in the coil on the compressor clutch is shorted, you need to remove the drive pulley where the belts hook on the compressor, then unbolt the 4 bolts holding the coil assy
