Replace the crankshaft poisition sensor at the bell housing on drivers side, must be done from under the truck, very hard to see and even harder to replace, but that will be the problem..

Tahoe wont start, cranks tries to fire

Sounds like a fuel delivery problem. Has the fuel filter ever been changed? You can try banging on the bottom of the fuel tank with a blunt object ( hammer works ) while some one cranks the engine. If it starts suspect a bad fuel pump

My 89 jeep cherokee won't. Start it will turn over

what motor? is the coil producing spark?? If so, check the fuel pressure, if the fuel pressure is low drop the tank, repace the pump and also replace the filter (located on the frame forward of the tank). If the coil is not producing spark, check for shorts or opens in the circuits as well as the IGN fuses. If there is NO fuel pressure at all check the fuel pump fuses and make sure the fuel pump is plugged in and there are no opens in the circuit

We was going down the road and our jeep shut off and wouldnt crank we changed fuel pump and chaecked our old fuel pump too but it worker and the truck still wont crank it isn't getting any pressure we have...

You say the jeep won't crank-----do you just mean it won't start, but the engine does spin when cranking the starter motor? Have you had the trouble codes read from the ECU? Do you have spark at the plug wires? It could also be the crank sensor on your jeep that's bad.
If your ECU has gone bad, it won't send a signal to the fuel pump relay to turn on, so no fuel pressure. Just a few suggestions.

The vehicle turns over. When you step on the gas pedal no gas is going into the carburater. There is gas in the vehicle. Bad fuel filter or bad fuel pump?

You have fuel injection on there. Fuel delivery and pressure are checked at the fuel rail. You should hear the pump in the tank come on when you turn the key on. If not check the fuse, pump and asd relay and the pump itself. Another common cause is a bad crank position sensor. If failed, the pump will not come on.
Test procedures can be found in haynes and chilton manuals.
Always test first before buying parts.

89 Wagoneer drives rough

The thing to do now is a fuel pressure test pump could be weak just a few pounds under the recamended pressure will do that weather its mechanical or electrical . Is there a filter in the carb. wear fuel fine hooks? If none of this is an issue at least you can eliminate fuel deliverly as the problem.

Not starting after replacing fuel filter and tune-up

I had the same problem with a 1989 Volvo 740 GLE station wagon. I did the same thing you did. But this time I talked to the local Independent Volvo service shop, not the dealer. The problem turn out to a bad fuel pump in the gas tank. You can replace it from inside the back of the station wagon. Just remove the floor panel to access the top of the fuel tank. But before you do; note that there are two fuel pumps, one inline underneath the car on the drivers side, and the one inside the gas tank. Before, you replace any of the fuel pumps check the fuel pump relay behind the astray on the left side. It could also be a bad relay.

1989 jeep grand wagoneer--no gas getting to carb.--

That may be right - no gas in the carb is likely a bad fuel pump, or a clogged fuel filter.
