My car was not starting so, I ran it through the computer it pinged back that the mass airflow sensor and the ignition coils where issues. I replaced both coil packs and the mass airflow sensor. Now the car starts up and runs however once the foot is taken off the gas it shuts off. Please help!
Check the IAC (idle air control) motor, the TPS (throttle position sensor) and the EGR valve - any one of these can cause the problem, but I would carefully check the IAC first (they often stick or fail due to heavy buildup on the plunger and/or a plugged air gallery).

ok bouncing idle means that you have a sensor that is on your Intake manifold that is acting up. It will not show on your code reader because it tells the computer it is acting right. Look around the intake manifold area and you will see it attatched. It is commonly called the throttle positioning sensor. It can be taken out and clean up on the contact surface with very fine sandpaper.

you have no fuel pressure, when u ran out of gas u overheated the fuel pump in the tank, now it is stuck and won't start running, very common problem after running out of gas, replace the fuel pump.

your fuel pump has failed from overheating, the pump is cooled by the gas it runs in, when u run out of gas or low on fuel many times this destroys the pump,replace the fuel pump.

EIther the IAC or throttle postion sensor is dirty or faulty. Or leaky vacuum hose somewhere. As long as it is not missing and running weird, then you may have bad coil packs.
