Chevy has 3 trucks with 1500 part of name but all 3 are no the same at all
no car told. means no answer or wrong,
nor country told,cars exported are not the same, ever.

code p 0719 refers to torque converter/brake switch B---circuit low====causes --wiring short to ground --torque converter /brake switch---ECM/TCM

there are turbine speed sensors that are located in the area you mentioned
if they are faulty ,the TCM has difficulty in correctly changing gears

some times its better to give full name tcm as I know it is a transmission control module chevy mounts them an the tranny.

The TCM is located in the right rear corner of the engine compartment. If you are buying a used TCM from a vehicle that has the same exact specifications, as yours then removal and instalation is easy. Disconnect battery, remove mounting screws and unplug electrical connections, and reverse. If you are buying a new TCM, make sure that the Dealership will sell you a preprogrammed unit. Unless a preprogrammed unit is available. it wont work. You will need to get the truck to the Dealership for this repair. Good luck.

the TCM (transmission control module) is part of PCM (powertrain control module)

Location of PCM/TCM
Look to the front driver's side area of the engine. There's a plastic cover next to the battery, and the PCM is underneath that

P0700=Transmission Control System (MIL Request)
Does not mean bad TCM,=transmission control modual,
all that happen here was the computer did not like the responce it got from a sensor,and requested the check engine light be turned on.
You need to have it scanned by a shop if it reappears

Should be on the passenger side kickplate below the glovebox and to the right. You may have to remove the plastic panel to access it or look for a small hole in it and feel around for the button
