Try the alternator. go to auto zone and have a technician come out and run a diagnostic on power system.

2010 Chevy Traverse died at a stop sign. wont start. tried jumping, and put in a new battery, still wont start just clicks and clicks

What is the mileage on it? It is possible the starter has packed it in. These motors were also problematic with timing chains issues. Based on the fact it died at stop sign as you stated makes me suspect to a chain failure. Is the oil full? Is it low? Does it burn oil? Need more info.

2001 s10 will jump start. After it sits, I try to start it, it won't start, but the ignition keeps dinging after I turn it off and take the key out. I can jump start it and the dinging stops.

its sounds like a bad ignition switch-try to jiggle it and see if its stop after you have turned key off- also those dinging sounds are to warn you that you have left something on -usually headlights or maybe even your dome lights which would account for your battery dying

Car died while stopped at stop sign jump started got home replaced alternator starts with jump then dies removed pos. term. with key off strong spark...

While the car is running, disconnect Positive terminal of battery, if car continues running, alternator is good, you should replace battery,if it dies alternator is bad. Hope this helps

I would check ignition items or fuel delivery if it just died on you. It wont be the battery unless it was dead and the alternator stop working.
