I have a 2004 Chevy suburban and it will cut off usually when it's hot and I have been driving for a while. It will crank right back up though and drive fine.

No check engine light .

Have alt checked,when its hot the alt regulator can malfunction and when volts get lower than 11.something the car will shut off.when you restart it the regulator resets till it gets hot again. i pulled my hair out with this problem on my tahoe

    having the same issue on a 2003 Suburban 5.3. when it shuts off the display says" battery not charging"! so this may be the issue!

You need to get the codes from the theft deterrent module.Usually a B2960.This will help in the diagnosis of the problem.Hope this helps.Good luck.

92 Chevy Suburban Electrical Fuel System

Check fuel flter at fuel pick-up intank (looks like a small wire sock). Remove fuel filter and fitting at fuel rail. Blow out fuel lines w/about 35lbs air press. Ck electrical @ relay - should be 4 connectors - one is key on hot/one is always hot/one is ground and last is hot to fuel pump. Good Luck
