When I turn the car off there is a clicking noise by the fuse box under the hood. If I don't disconnect the battery (then it stops) it drains it. The heater blower is disconnected and the wires are hanging down could this be the problem?
No if something is disconnected it should not cause a problem but one of the relays may be stuck,what you can do is feel and see witch one is clicking and do a switch see what happens
i replaced the relays, also the MAF sensor when I pull out the fan 2 relay the clicking stops by the fuse box however, there is a slight clicking by throttle body

You will need a Blower motor resistor and maybe a blower motor resistor connector end. If you look under the dash on the passenger side(may need to remove smooth black cover, vents will be sticking out) you will see a connector going straight up into the blower motor resistor(7 wires/slightly in front of blower motor). Pull out the connector and check for melted terminals/wires. If no melted terminals just replace blower motor resistor with part # 89019088 per GM to revert to part before 04 in order to stop blower motor resistor relay from hanging. There should be a relay for that blower. sounds like the relay is stuck. see if you can find out where it is and replace it. You should find that info in a service manual for that vehicle. hope this helps: )

Disconnect the battery and do a continuity check from the heater fuse to ground. It will probably be a short. If so do a physical check of the wire(s) from the heater to the fuse. Look at any place where the wire(s) bend and any place where it's possible for the wire to vibrate against metal even if you have to cut tape and pull it out of a bundle to follow it, retape it later. I have faith in you finding a burned wire, good luck.

I don't know what you mean by temp module but i'am gessing the switch on the dash, but to me it sounds like the resister is bad, i believe its located under the hood on the air box if not than chk. under the dash by the heater motor, i have seen the wires burn that plug into it when they go bad, thats what makes the blower run and also regulates the speeds of the blower motor.

blower fuse is the one your looking for prob not under hood lookinside the door jam if no fuses are blowed than its prob the cluster switch in the dash were u select fan speed
